So I have 2 beefs today. One is this. My supposed "friend" who only calls when she needs something by the way, but who I attempt to call and email and never get call backs and very few email responces from, but who always calls me her best friend and gets all mad if I do ANYTHING without inviting her, but who hasn't seen my new house yet even after multipul invites, I've lived here for almost 2 years, is going on a all girls weekend to Vegas. Yours truly wasn't invited. Nice eh??
Second. If you have children be a parent already!! Plain and simple! I have a 3 year old in my care who was at the doctor in december for an ear infection. His mother was told at that time that he needed tubes in his ears, that he can't hear. Explains the way he talks. Has she taken him in yet? nope. I talk to her about it every week. I try to be nice. Nothing. So today I yell. I get her on the phone on one of her breaks and I say, "you need to get him in THIS WEEK! He CANNOT HEAR anything I say! I am NOT going to continue to punish your child because he can't hear what I am saying to him. That is YOUR FAULT! CALL THE DOCOTOR!" She says, fine I guess I'll have to get off work early. TO which I reply "yes I guess you will. He is your SON!"
Did I go over board there??? I am mad as hell! Parents...it is NOT your daycare providers job to be your childs PARENT! That is YOUR job. You took that job when you had kids remember?? My job is to keep your kids safe while you are away. That is all. I should NOT be the one worried about hearing and ADD and worrying about whether or not you are washing the cut your daughter has enough to keep infection down and having to give her a bath myself because you don't bother to. A 1 year old should be bathed more then once every week or so...not ok!!!
